The Granville Fire Company, along with several mutual aid departments, will be conducting a water movement training exercise on Sunday, October 25, beginning at 1:00 PM. The training will take place in the area of Malta Park Road and Granville Road.

This exercise is designed to enhance our firefighters’ skills in establishing and maintaining a continuous water supply in areas without nearby hydrants—an essential capability for rural firefighting operations. Crews will practice drafting, tanker shuttles, and relay pumping to simulate real-world fireground conditions.

We ask residents and motorists to use caution while traveling through the training area. There will be increased fire apparatus traffic at times. Please slow down and follow any directions from personnel on scene.
