This afternoon, members of the Granville Fire Company, along with our mutual aid partners from Junction Fire Company, West Granville Fire Company, McVeytown Fire Company, Yeagertown Fire Company, Milroy Fire Company, and City Hook and Ladder, participated in awater movement training.

The focus of this hands-on session was the use of the rural hitch valve. Crews worked together to set up and operate tanker shuttle operations, practicing coordination and communication to ensure smooth and continuous water flow to simulated fire scenes.

These joint trainings strengthen not only our operational skills but also the teamwork and trust between departments that are vital during real emergencies. We appreciate the participation of all the departments who took time out of their day to join us in improving our collective readiness and effectiveness in serving our communities.

We would also like to thank Dan Aumiller and Chris Treaster for leading this training.
