The Granville Fire Company is proud to recognize the hard work and dedication of our junior members. This evening, some of them helped prepare for our annual Company Members Appreciation Picnic, assisting with setup and behind-the-scenes support to make the event a success.

But their day didn’t end there—after the preparations, these young volunteers asked to do a training session focused on fill site operations. This essential training helps our juniors gain real-world experience setting up and managing water supply at fire scenes, a critical skill in rural firefighting.

We’re incredibly proud of the commitment and enthusiasm these junior members bring to our department. Their willingness to learn and step up wherever needed is a true reflection of the Granville Fire Company’s mission of service, training, and community.
