| AS OF SUNDAY, APRIL 19, THE DO NOT USE RESTRICTION HAS BEEN LIFTED!
SITUATION OVERVIEW Due to an electrical transformer surge which resulted in a catastrophic loss to one of the primary alternate water sources, it could not be utilized to meet water system demands. As a result, water levels cannot be sustained to supply all customers with water without drawing from the Laurel Creek Reservoir. The LCFP is scheduled to resume water withdraw from the reservoir and treatment, and begin distributing to the system Saturday, April 18, 2026. While no contamination has been confirmed in the treated water at this time, this precautionary measure is necessary to protect public health and ensure system reliability. Emergency testing resources are being deployed to expedite water quality test results.
