Chimney Fire In The First Due

Today, at 1240 hours, Company 16 was dispatched to the 400 block of Anderson Road in our first due. As units were responding, Mifflin County dispatch advised Chief 16 that they were upgrading the box to a residential fire due the possibility extension of fire into the walls. The Engine with Chief 16-1 arrived on scene, followed by Tanker 16, and then Truck 15. The box was then held to Company 16, 15, and EMS. Crews operated on scene for approximately 1 hour.
